Project Description

Oh My Coffee was created to capture the simple joy of everyday coffee experiences through a brand identity that feels warm, expressive, and approachable. Rather than following the typical premium café aesthetic, the project focused on building a human-centered visual system that celebrates small daily moments, using a playful, handcrafted identity that feels authentic and memorable.

Problem

Many coffee brands lean heavily on premium, sophisticated visuals, making the category feel visually repetitive. The challenge was to break away from those expectations while keeping the brand instantly recognizable as a café. Every design decision needed to balance personality, simplicity, and emotional connection without losing consistency across various applications.

Solution

Instead of treating coffee as a premium product, the identity was shaped around the emotions and rituals people associate with it every day. A handcrafted logotype introduced warmth and spontaneity, while a restrained black-and-white system kept the brand flexible, recognizable, and impactful across packaging, print, and digital experiences.

From there, we translated those insights into visual concepts, refining typography, logo expression, and brand applications. Each element was carefully evaluated to ensure the identity felt approachable, memorable, and consistent across both physical and digital touchpoints.
